Commuter Surgeries

Our GP partners hold early morning surgeries for commuters.  These are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Red House Surgery from 7.00am to 9.30am.

In addition, we hold early morning phlebotomist clinics each week at the Red House, starting at 7.30am.

Commuter Phlebotomy Sessions

We are sorry to inform you that unfortunately we have had to reduce our commuter phlebotomoy sessions as they are no longer being funded for us in the practice. We recognise the need that they meet and are busy trying to persuade NHS England to restore them.

We rely on funds to provide such services and as you will be aware from the media, general practice is suffering from disinvestment and a relative reduction in resources. We are having to operate within this environment.

We have, however, made the decision to maintain two of these sessions at The Red House Surgery on Wednesday and Thursday mornings (7.30-8.30am) for the moment because we realise the specific need of that section of our population that are often away from home during the working day.
