In line with national guidelines, all our patients aged 65 are offered a one-off pneumococcal (PPV) vaccination to protect against pneumococcal Infection.
We also offer the shingles vaccines, which is being introduced into the NHS vaccination schedule. Initially this is being offered to selected age groups, but in due course will be offered to all patients aged over 70.
If you receive an invitation to receive either of these vaccinations, please telephone your surgery to make an appointment with a practice nurse.
