GP Registrars
GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors with experience in hospital medicine who are training to be General Practitioners. As part of this training they spend time working in GP practices to develop their General Practitioner skills.
The Red House Group is a training practice, and we normally have at least one GP Registrar with us at any time.
GP Earnings
All GP practices are required to declare mean earnings, i.e. average pay for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working in the Red House Surgery in the last financial year was £90,125 before tax and National Insurance.
This is for six full-time GPs, four part-time GPs and four locum GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
